Tom Ford Oud Wood oil 10ml absolute oil

In 2007, Tom Ford's "Private Blend" perfume collection was replenished with a new unisex fragrance, Oud Wood. This woody oriental perfume is built around the resinous and smoky aroma of widow's wood, better known as agar wood. This rather rare and expensive component in combination with oriental spices has a strict and refined character, its enveloping warmth fascinates and attracts attention to its owner. On women, the aroma acquires a delicate sweetish shade, on men, astringency and noble wood prevail. Oud Wood perfume is revealed by an exotic mixture of warmed agarwood and rosewood, spreading a resinous-balsamic aroma with a slight hint of sweetness. Burning cardamom and spicy Szechuan pepper give the sound a sharp tartness. At the heart of the composition, the woody bouquet is complemented by noble accords of sandalwood and vetiver. The closing notes sound unusually sensual and languid thanks to ambergris, creamy vanilla and tonka beans.
